Adam joined the Board of Trustees in 2026. Adam is a Chartered Fellow health, safety, environmental and risk management professional with over 20 years' experience across the higher education, healthcare, construction and consultancy sectors. He is currently Head of Group Safety, Health, Environment & Compliance at the University of Derby, where he provides strategic leadership and assurance on governance, risk, compliance, sustainability and organisational resilience. Adam has extensive experience advising boards, executive teams and governing bodies on risk management, regulatory compliance and organisational performance. Alongside his executive role, he serves on a number of professional and voluntary boards, including the Executive Board of the Universities Safety and Health Association (USHA), and has a strong commitment to education, community engagement and good governance. A Chartered Environmentalist and Fellow of IOSH, IWFM, IIRSM and ISEP, he brings a broad range of strategic, commercial and governance expertise to the Trust and its Audit & Risk Committee.
