Sarah joined the Board of Trustees in July 2026. She is the Chief Executive Officer of The Mead Educational Trust, having previously served as Deputy CEO, and has played a key role in the trust’s development since its formation in 2014. Sarah has dedicated her career to improving outcomes for children and young people, particularly those from disadvantaged communities. She has been a Headteacher or Executive Headteacher at five inner-city schools in Leicester and has a strong track record of supporting school improvement through her work as a National Leader of Education and in senior trust leadership. Her areas of expertise include social justice, improving outcomes for disadvantaged pupils, high-quality early years education, behaviour and culture, and curriculum development. Sarah is passionate about collaborative working and believes in sharing expertise to strengthen education across the sector, bringing a wealth of leadership experience and a strong commitment to improving life chances for all children.
