Rachael began her secondment as EYFS Lead Practitioner in December 2023. Rachael started her early teaching career working within the British International School in Rome before returning to England where she has worked within Northamptonshire Primary Schools for the last 13 years. She has worked at Spring Lane Primary School for the last 10 years and it is here that Rachael discovered her passion for the Early Years Foundation Stage. She is now Early Years Phase Lead, EYFS/KS1 Special Education Needs Co-ordinator and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Rachael has a BA (Hons) in Primary Education and is currently studying for her NPQSL. Rachael is driven to enable children to have the best start to school life; to be curious, independent, to have a voice and be heard and to have strong and secure relationships. She strives to be an advocate for children and families with SEND and ensure that all children have access to high quality education. In her spare time, Rachael enjoys spending time with her family, horse riding and visiting new countries.
