Alan joined the Board of Trustees in 2026. He has nearly four decades of experience in housing and public services and has held a range of senior executive roles, including as a Deputy Group Chief Executive and Chief Executive. He now runs his own independent advisory practice, supporting organisations with strategy, governance, transformation and organisational performance. Throughout his career, Alan has been particularly interested in how good leadership, strong organisational culture and a clear sense of purpose can make a real difference. He has extensive experience of working with Boards, leading organisational change, developing people and improving services for customers and communities. Alan believes strongly in creating opportunities for people to develop, build confidence and achieve their ambitions. He is looking forward to bringing his experience to Campfire, supporting the Trust as it continues to develop and, above all, helping to create the conditions in which every child has the opportunity to thrive and realise their potential.
